Fond farewell...

I'll admit it: I was sad when I saw MiamiPlantDelivery.com and PlantsFromParadise.com went "under." With the real estate market suffering in South Florida, I wasn't getting calls. Besides, I am a full-time teacher and an adjunct at Miami Dade. There are only so many hours in the day...

So I won't be updating here anymore. This blog will just whither away. Perhaps it'll be indexed by archive.org? Perhaps someone else interested in starting a local plant delivery service / landscaping company will stumble upon and they will smile at some of my posts.

Honestly, it was a pleasure running the business. I loved loading up the truck full of plants. I loved digging, more a few years ago than now...but still. I loved meeting Marcus. I loved the trailer.

It's not like I'll never do landscaping again. I've been loading up the warehouse all summer with beautiful palms and pines.

But I probably won't be loading up my truck for customers in the near future. Maybe never? Hmmm...never is a long time. If www.plantsfromparadise.blogspot.com is still up and you see something interesting, let me know. I just might drive up and deliver it :)

Until then, I'll be working on programming and another project related to plants.

Good bye, Plants From Paradise.
